We went to Elvaston Castle for this shoot. This was our third attempt as the first teo had to be abandoned for terrible weather etc. I’m glad we waited though. It was a beautiful day in The Derbyshire countryside. One of those proper crisp winter days that uplifting over miserable. Had a great time and I’m very much looking forward to shooting Annie and Charles’ wedding next year.

For Wayne and Tan’s engagement shoot we postponed twice so as to get a very sunny evening for long shadows and sharp contrasts. We went to Beacon Hill in Leicestershire about an hour before twilight and took an amble through the woods so as to catch the shafts of sunlight as they spread in through the trees.

For Ed and Jess’s winter shoot we headed up the hill that rises out of Cropston so as to have the reservoir as a backdrop.
